Clear the Decks! Rig For Borders! Evenly-spaced Borders!

We've trundled out a special rack and sign at the front of the shop - you'll see it as soon as you walk in the door. It's a big cardboard dump bin that we are going to refill each week - with something new each time.

We're talking overstock here, and bargains, and combo deals. Good stuff, and the kind of equipment and material that you need, but at a great bargain price. You get 'em courtesy of our new shop fit and the fact that we are running out of space to rack things up. If we sell it we don't have to stack it.

This week's score is 200 sheets of Ilford paper for the price of 100. You buy an A4 box of 100 Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl for $ 85 and we throw in a free box of 100 sheets of the same paper in the 6" x 4" size.

Print big for yourself and then make some postcards to keep the family and friends happy. You win either way as Ilford Smooth Pearl  is one of the best general-purpose inkjet papers made.

Special goes for a week. Don't miss out.

The Window Of Opportunity Is Open - Take A Shot At It Now!

Well, if you are quick you get two of the best deals I have seen in this shop in a long time.

This is a chance for someone who wants two-lens kits for enthusiastic photography. I mean the sort of shooting that takes in family, landscape, travel, sports, and riots.

The cameras are the Fuji X-M1 and the Fuji X-A1. The lenses are Fujinon aspherical zooms. with each two-lens kit you get:

1.  The XC 16-50 mm f:3.5-5.6 OIS lens
2.  The XC 50-230 mm f:4.5-6.7 OIS lens

The OIS means internal image stabilisation in the lenses. Steadier shots at longer focal lengths.

The X-M1 has an X-trans sensor and the X-A1 has a Bayer-array sensor. They both have tiltable rear LCD and integral flash as well as all the Fuji specialist programs. The build quality is superb and the ergonomics are perfect for most hands.

Best of all is the price:

For the month of February the X-M1 kit is $ 998 and the X-A1 kit is $ 686. All up, all going, all good.

Be warned - there are only so many of the lens kits available. Hop in for your chop and get the best bargain in the place. Now.

Something To Your Advantage

Those of you who will be travelling shortly, and wish to record images of exotic scenery and native customs would do well to repair to the shop of Camera Electronic in Stirling Street in this city, where you will learn something to your advantage.

You would be well advised to bring your purse with at least $ 500 in it and be prepared to spend it. You will not regret the decision.

Ask to speak to Gavin or Dick in particular or any of the other staff should they be free.
